Charlotte has played a pivotal role in litigating some of the largest commercial and class action claims in the English Courts. She also has extensive experience in cross border disputes and regularly represents leading domestic and international commercial entities, as well as ultra-high net worth individuals.
Her work has included acting on behalf of domestic and overseas investors in claims against multiple offshore cryptocurrency exchanges; representing private equity houses and hedge funds in high value claims for fraudulent misrepresentation; and advising on complex shareholder disputes, including unfair prejudice proceedings and claims concerning governance and the exercise of shareholder rights.
Charlotte recently acted successfully in an expedited Commercial Court trial in a highly contested banking dispute concerning two US$50 million series of Loan Participation Notes. Charlotte also acted for a defendant bond issuer who succeeded in having claims brought against it exceeding US$250 million and €50 million set aside. In addition, Charlotte has been instrumental in negotiating numerous settlements across a range of complex disputes, delivering outcomes which protected commercial interests and avoided the need for trial.
