Annie is an Australian qualified solicitor specialising in complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and began her career as a solicitor at a top tier commercial law firm in Australia.
She has acted and advised clients across a broad range of matters, including complex commercial and contractual disputes, construction disputes, and restructuring and insolvency matters.
Prior to joining private practice, she was a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of Queensland, providing her with valuable insight into advocacy and the judiciary.

Annie Ryan

Ben is an expert in financial services, specialising in regulatory matters and dispute resolution. He has exceptional skill in handling claims involving the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), and retail investment mis-selling. Ben also advises on non-contentious issues, including regulatory structures, business models, control application changes, regulated activities, and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) permissions.
With his extensive experience in legal, banking, and financial services, Ben is recognised for his ability to provide strategic insights and practical solutions.

Ben Rees

Billy advises on complex commercial, banking, and civil fraud disputes, often involving jurisdictional, conflict of laws, and sanctions issues. Many of the cases that Billy works on also involve the coordination of parallel proceedings in foreign courts.
He has extensive trial experience and has worked on several billion dollar disputes, including: a complex shareholder dispute between three Ukrainian businessmen including total claims and counterclaims valued at over US$1.5 billion*; an LCIA arbitration concerning alleged breaches of contract and disclosure obligations under a JVA relating to a multinational oil and gas exploration and production company*; and an expedited ICC arbitration concerning a licence agreement for the development and commercialisation of a critical medical treatment.*
Most recently, Billy acted for the defendant bond issuer in Commercial Court proceedings concerning a dispute over Loan Participation Notes, successfully obtaining an order setting aside the claim form, which the claimants had sought to amend to include claims exceeding US$250 million and €50 million. He also acted successfully in an expedited Commercial Court trial concerning the purported removal and appointment of the trustee of two US$50 million series of Loan Participation Notes.
Billy also has experience obtaining and resisting urgent interim relief, including worldwide freezing orders and anti-suit injunctions.

Billy Earl

Catriona is a corporate lawyer with experience in the full range of company and commercial advisory and transactional matters. Catriona gained experience at a corporate boutique and an AmLaw 100 law firm.
Catriona’s deal sheet features cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital transactions, international reorganisations and corporate advisory matters. Her client base is a diverse clientele, including private and publicly traded companies, founders, startups, alternative asset managers and investors operating in sectors including life sciences, financial services, renewable energy, technology, sports and hospitality.
Catriona has also served as in-house M&amp;A counsel. There, her expertise in deal strategy and execution, and collaboration with other internal teams, contributed to the development and realisation of legal initiatives and the overall success of the organisation.

Catriona Reid

Charlotte has played a pivotal role in litigating some of the largest commercial and class action claims in the English Courts. She also has extensive experience in cross border disputes and regularly represents leading domestic and international commercial entities, as well as ultra-high net worth individuals.
Her work has included acting on behalf of domestic and overseas investors in claims against multiple offshore cryptocurrency exchanges; representing private equity houses and hedge funds in high value claims for fraudulent misrepresentation; and advising on complex shareholder disputes, including unfair prejudice proceedings and claims concerning governance and the exercise of shareholder rights.
Charlotte recently acted successfully in an expedited Commercial Court trial in a highly contested banking dispute concerning two US$50 million series of Loan Participation Notes. Charlotte also acted for a defendant bond issuer who succeeded in having claims brought against it exceeding US$250 million and €50 million set aside. In addition, Charlotte has been instrumental in negotiating numerous settlements across a range of complex disputes, delivering outcomes which protected commercial interests and avoided the need for trial.
Charlotte has a proven track record of delivering exceptional outcomes for clients in high-value and high-pressure disputes, combining rigorous analysis with strategic and commercially focused judgment.

With a highly international background and fluency in seven languages, Julia brings a global perspective to building trusted relationships across markets and cultures.
